LADY GAGA NAKED IN FRONT OF GAY FANS (VIEW PICS)
Lady Gaga obviously has no limits. And with all that talent
she has she probably doesn't need this. She performed completely naked at a
London gay club on Saturday night. She began her performance at G.A.Y in this
long, white petticoat-style gown, and later took off her dress in front of the
audience.
GAGA CRAZE!
SAMSUNG EXTENDS SMARTPHONE LEAD OVER APPLE
Washington (AFP) -
Samsung extended its lead over Apple in the global smartphone market in the
third quarter as Chinese manufacturers also made inroads, a survey showed
Tuesday.
The worldwide
smartphone market saw record sales in the quarter, with growth of 38.8 percent
from a year ago and 258.4 million units sold, the IDC survey said.
The South Korean
electronics giant Samsung widened its lead, shipping 81.2 million smartphones,
boosting its market share by nearly half a percentage point to 31.4 percent.
Apple sold 33.8
million iPhones in the quarter, but its growth was slower than the overall
market, so its share slipped to 13.1 percent from 14.4 percent a year ago.
China's Huawei moved into third place, propelled by 76 percent year-over-year growth. It sold 12.5 million smartphones, grabbing a market share of 4.8 percent, just ahead of the 4.7 percent for fellow Chinese firm Lenovo.
South Korea's LG
slipped from third to fifth place, with a 4.6 percent share, despite sales
growth of 71 percent.
"Beyond Samsung
and Apple at the top of the rankings is a tight race of vendors trying to break
out from the pack," said IDC analyst Ramon Llamas.
"Chinese vendors
Huawei and Lenovo moved past LG, and not far behind are two more Chinese
companies, Coolpad and ZTE."
The survey did not
break down the market share for Android, the dominant operating platform from
Google.
But a separate report
from ABI Research said Android's global market share reached a record 80.6
percent. ABI estimated Apple's share at 14 percent, with Windows Phone at four
percent and BlackBerry 1.5 percent.
"The race for
the third ecosystem is clearly favoring Windows Phone... but there remains
little opportunity for new market entrants to make a significant impact on
Android’s dominance," said ABI analyst Michael Morgan.
ABI's estimate showed
244 million smartphones shipped, with Samsung's share at 35 percent and Apple's
14 percent.
ABI said it expects
Apple to sell a record 53 million iPhones in the fourth quarter, but that this
would boost its market share only to 18.7 percent.
IDC's Llamas said the
smartphone market is still growing at a solid pace and expects annual sales of
one billion units in 2014.
The overall mobile
phone market grew 5.7 percent from a year ago to 467.9 million units, with
Samsung on top with a 24.7 percent market share, IDC said.

KIM KARDASHIAN'S WEDDING RING FETCHES $749K AT AUCTION
Somebody paid a pretty penny to own Kim
Kardashian's old engagement ring from ex-husband Kris Humphries. Omg! can
confirm that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star's massive
former sparkler was sold through Christie's auction house in NYC Tuesday for
$620,000! (However, when you add in Christie's markup, the anonymous buyer will
end up paying a total of $749,000.)
The bling, designed by Kardashian go-to jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, clocked in with a 16.21-carat center diamond and two 1.8-carat side diamonds. It was purchased by an anonymous online bidder. Bidding started at $200,000 for the piece of jewelry, which was reported to be worth $2 million when Humphries, 28, proposed in 2011.
The exes were famously wed for just 72 days before Kardashian filed for divorce on October 31, 2011 — though it took over a year and a half for their split to be finalized (they were officially divorced in May 2013). Kardashian quickly moved on with rapper Kanye West, and the pair welcomed daughter North West on June 15 of this year.
Humphries' intention to sell the bauble was first reported by RumorFix last month.
"Kim has been waiting for the day he would auction it," a source told Us Weekly in September, adding that Kardashian was the one who initially paid for the ring. "Everyone always asked what Kim did with the ring — she silently gave it back over a year ago! And Kris waiting until the divorce was final to sell it."
Us Weekly's source scoffed, "The ring is definitely not worth $2 million, not even half of that."
Do you think the bling is worth $749K?

SEX SHOW OWNER ARRESTED AFTER RIHANNA’S THAI VISIT
BANGKOK (AFP) – Thai
authorities said Monday they had arrested the owner of a sex show visited by
pop icon Rihanna — the latest crackdown inadvertently triggered by the singer’s
tweets.
The bar owner on the island
of Phuket has been charged in connection with the lewd performance, local
district chief Veera Kerdsirimongkol told AFP, following an operation involving
undercover officials.
“It was the result of the
visit by Rihanna. The authorities will be more strict towards inappropriate
shows or wildlife attractions,” he said.
Thai tourist officials were
left red-faced after Rihanna’s tweets last month drew worldwide attention to
the kingdom’s seedier side.
“Either I was phuck wasted
lastnight, or I saw a Thai woman pull a live bird,2 turtles, razors, shoot darts
and ping pong, all out of her pu$$y,” she wrote in a message in September to
her more than 32 million followers on Twitter.
“The birds feathers were
all damp! Lol. Only in #Thailand,” she added.
“And THEN she tried to turn
water into coke in her $!! Uhh yea, all I’m saying is water went in and soda
came out! I’m traumatized!!!”
It is the second time the
pop diva has unwittingly helped to clean up Phuket, one of Thailand’s top
tourist destinations.
Last month two men were
arrested for possessing a protected slow loris after Rihanna posted a picture
of herself with the primate on a night out during the same visit to the island.
The image — captioned “Look
who was talkin dirty to me!” (http://instagram.com/p/efvnHRBM3B/) — generated
outrage from wildlife activists about rampant exploitation of animals in Thai
tourist areas.
Use of the slow loris and
other protected species for tourist snaps — while common in Thai tourist
resorts — is officially illegal.
According to wildlife
protection campaigners, mother lorises are often killed while the young are
stolen. The primates’ teeth are also removed due to their toxic bite.
Thailand’s sun-drenched
beaches and libidinous nightlife have long been a magnet for tourists from
around the world.
But following a flurry of
complaints, foreign diplomats have called for a crackdown on scams and crimes
against tourists in Phuket.
Local tourist police
volunteers warn against venturing into strip clubs offering “ping-pong shows”
due to the risk of overpriced drinks and threats of violence against people who
refuse to pay.
“As well as dealing
seriously with inappropriate shows and drugs, police will do more to protect
the safety of tourists as the high season approaches,” said Phuket police chief
Ongart Phewreungnon.
ONITSHA DEPORTEES SLAM N1BN SUIT AGAINST LAGOS.
ONITSHA — The Federal High Court 4 sitting in
Lagos, presided over by Justice Anumogobia is expected to commence hearing on
January 29, 2014 in a N1 billion civil suit instituted against Lagos State
Government, by the 76 victims who were deported from the state and abandoned in
Onitsha, Anambra State on July 24, 2013.
The suit was filed by seven of the deportees,
including Joseph Aniebonam, Osondu Mbuto, Osondu Agwu, Nnenna Ogbonna, Emily
Okoroariri, Friday Ndukwe and Onyeka Ugwu as the applicants, on behalf of the
76 others, while the Attorney-General of Lagos State and the Commissioner of
Police, Lagos State are the respondents.
Deportees
The suit was brought as a motion on notice
pursuant to Order 11, Rule 1&2 of the Fundamental Rights (Enforcement
Procedure Rules), 2009, Sections 34 (1) (A), 35, 40, 45 (1), 42 (1), 46 (1) and
6 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, as amended; Articles 5, 6 and 12 of African
Charter on Human and Peoples Rights.
In the motion filed on their behalf, through
their legal counsel, Chief Barrister Ugo Ugwunnadi, an Onitsha-based legal
practitioner., the applicants are praying the court to declare that they, as
Nigerian citizens are entitled to the enjoyment of their fundamental rights as
provided for in Sections 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 41 and 42 of the 1999
Constitution, as amended.
The applicants are also seeking a declaration
of the court that their arrest and detention in various camps, Oshodi
rehabilitation centre, police cells and prisons, within Lagos State for no
offence known to law and without trial and conviction by a court of competent
jurisdiction, amounted to a serious breach of their rights as provided for in the
relevant sections of the constitution, adding that such an action was illegal,
null, void and unlawful.
They also sought an order of the court to
declare that their deportation from Lagos State of Nigeria to Anambra State of
Nigeria on July 24, amounted to a gross violation of their rights and a breach
of the provisions of the 1999 Constitution, as amended.
They noted that the court should mandate the
first respondent to re-absorb and accommodate the applicants within Lagos State
of Nigeria since they are Nigerian citizens and are entitled to reside in any
part of Nigeria, including Lagos State.
The applicants equally sought a perpetual
injuction restraining the respondents, their agents, privies, subordinates,
workers and officers, howsoever called, from their further deportation or
refusing them free entry into Lagos and free exit therefrom, as well as an
order mandating the respondents to tender a written apology to them by
publishing the apology in the following newspapers: THISDAY, Vanguard and Daily
Sun continuously for 30 days, from the date of the first publication, for
unlawful and gross violation of their constitutional rights.
Also in their written address, the applicants
noted that the issue for determination is whether the action of the respondents
in arresting, detaining and their subsequent deportation from Lagos to Onitsha,
Anambra State is justified in law, in view of the supreme provisions of the
1999 Constitution of Nigeria, adding that if the issue is resolved in the
negative and against the respondents, the applicants are entitled to the
reliefs sought.

Facebook Owner (Mark Zuckerberg) Buys Neighbouring Houses just For Privacy
Mark Zuckerberg just made an unusual purchase.Well, four purchases.Facebook's billionaire founder bought four homes surrounding his current home near Palo Alto, Mercury News reports. The houses cost him more than $30 million, including one 2,600 square-foot home that cost $14 million. (His own home is twice as large at 5,000 square-feet and cost half as much.)Larry Page made a similar move a few years ago so he could build a massive, 6,000-square-foot mansion. But Zuckerberg's reason is different. He doesn't want to live in excess, he just wants a little privacy.Zuckerberg reportedly took action after he learned that a developer wanted to purchase one of his neighbor's homes and use the fact that Zuckerberg lived close by as a marketing tactic. He started purchasing the homes last December. Zuckerberg will lease the four homes he just bought back to its current residents. It's sad yet ironic that Zuckerberg has to go through great lengths to protect his privacy. Yesterday news broke that Facebook was removing yet another privacy feature. Soon, even people who wish to remain hidden from Facebook searches will have no choice but to be searchable on the social network.

A LOOK AT THE WORLD'S LARGEST INSECTS
A terrifying plague of giant
hornets has killed 41 and injured more than 1,600 in central China.
The
massive creatures, which can grow up to five centimetres long, started
appearing in massive swarms around the cities of Ankang, Hanzhong and Shangluo.
The
Asian giant hornet has a six-millimetre sting that contains deadly venom which
actually attracts others of its kind to the victim.
They
may be frighteningly large, but they're not quite the biggest insects out
there. Here are eleven that can put them to shame.
27 DIE IN IRAQI SUICIDE BOMBINGS
Suicide car bombers attacked an elementary school and a police station
in a small northern Iraqi village on Sunday while another on foot detonated his
payload among Shiite pilgrims in Baghdad, killing at least 27 people including
children, officials said.
The attacks are the latest in a relentless wave of killing that has
made for Iraq's deadliest outburst of violence since 2008.
The mounting death tolls are raising fears that the country is falling
back into the spiral of violence that brought it to the edge of civil war in
the years after the 2003 US-led invasion.
Sunday's blasts began about 9.30am in the Shiite Turkomen village of
Qabak, just outside the town of Tal Afar.
The area around the stricken village has long been a hotbed for
hard-to-rout Sunni insurgents and a corridor for extremist fighters arriving
from nearby Syria.
One car bomb in the tiny village targeted an elementary school while
children ages six to 12 were in class as another struck a nearby police
station, Tal Afar mayor Abdul Aal al-Obeidi said.
The dead included 12 children, the school principal and two policemen.
Another 90 people were wounded, he said.
The village is home to only about 200 residents and part of the
single-storey school collapsed as a result of the blast, he said.
Tal Afar is 260 miles northwest of Baghdad.
"We and Iraq are plagued by al-Qaida," al-Obeidi said.
"It's a tragedy. These innocent children were here to study. What sins did
these children commit?"
Another suicide bomber, this time on foot, blew himself up hours later
as Shiite pilgrims walked through the largely Sunni neighborhood of Waziriyah
in the north of the Iraqi capital.
At least 12 people were killed and 23 wounded in the attack, according
to police and hospital officials.
They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised
to brief reporters.
It was the second time in less than 24 hours that a suicide bomber
managed to thwart security checkpoints and target Shiite pilgrims making their
way to a golden-domed shrine in northern Baghdad where two revered Shiite
saints are buried.
A suicide bombing in the largely Sunni neighborhood of Azamiyah, not
far from the site of Sunday's attack, late on Saturday killed 51, authorities
said as they revised the death toll upward. That and other attacks on Saturday
left a total of 75 dead.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility but suicide bombers and
car bombs are frequently used by al-Qaida's Iraq branch.
It often targets Shiite civilians in an effort to undermine the
Shiite-led government. Its extremist ideology considers Shiites heretics.
United Nations figures released this week showed that at least 979
people, most of them civilians, were killed last month alone. At least 135 have
died violently since the start of October, according to an Associated Press
count.
A 23-YEAR-OLD GRADUATE OF COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, ILARO, OGUN STATE HACKED JAMB, NECO, NSCDC, SSS, NIS SITES
A 23-year-old graduate of College of Education, Ilaro, Ogun
State, who has been on wanted list of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence
Corps (NSCDC), for notoriety on hacking into websites of government agencies
and sale of fake recruitment forms has been arrested.
The suspect, who simply gave his name as Adeniji Lukman, from Osun State, was paraded in Abuja, on Monday, before newsmen by the Commandant-General of NSCDC, Dr Ade Abolurin.
Lukman confessed to have committed the cyber crime of hacking into websites of government agencies, including security agencies and selling of fake recruitment forms to unsuspecting job seekers.
He told newsmen that he was an expert in website design and had been using that advantage to defraud many Nigerians.
Answering the question on why he chose cyber crime with his talent, the suspect said, “it is ignorance. I have a talent and I know how to design website.”
Dr Abolurin disclosed that the suspect had been notorious for hacking into websites of government agencies, including the NSCDC, States Security Service (SSS), Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), National Examination Council (NECO) and Nigeria Customs Service.
The suspect was also alleged to have hacked into the website of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and was already having a rip-off from the current recruitment exercise being conducted by into NIS.
He was also alleged to have hacked into the website of JAMB and produce questions and answers likely to feature in the examinations and sold them to the public before the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) was held.
“The suspect before us is an expert in website design. He can hack into any system, most especially government agencies’ system. He develops portals through which he used to put some adverts, advertising for recruitment for all these agencies.
“He just graduated from College of Education, Ilaro, in March and he went to computer training centre where he learnt some of these things.
“The crux of the matter is that when he hacked into our system, there were so much outcries in the country. This got to my knowledge late last year, and so we started trailing the suspect.
“We thank God, on September 26, we got him. He is 23 years. He was arrested in Osun State,” he said.

PICTURES FROM AFRICA FASHION WEEK, LONDON 2013
According to the organisers, their goal is both to celebrate
London’s diversity and to promote Africa’s culture through fashion.
“There is a lot of African talent on the continent and also
in the diaspora but they don’t always have the financial back-up, they don’t
always have the means to turn their passion into a business”, Sinem
Bilen-Onabanjo, from the organising team.
Watch out for a self-taught designer who surprised many with
the quality of her work, Tumisola Ladega (right), of Nigerian descent. She is
only 14 years old.
