Nollywood Sexiest: The top 20: how they stand.

As we come to the next phase in the quest for
the Sexiest Woman and Man in Nollywood, it is
pertinent to give the picture of how each star
has fared so far. There are 20 men and 20
women still standing and ready to battle it out
until the last man and woman standing.
However, popular opinion that held this week is
that we should keep all the contesting stars still
in the quest while do an exposé of how they truly
stand. Despite the position of the committee
that the number of votes of each contesting star
should not be published, popular opinion that
the voters should know where their stars stand,
has won through for this week.
Thus for the men; the countdown begins with O.C.
Ukeje at 20th position, Pat Attah at 19th, Kalu
Ikeagwu at 18th, Emeka Enyiocha at 17th and
Sunkanmi Omobolanle at 16th place.
Alex Ekubo who, just awhile ago, looked like
dropping from the quest sits at 15th place,
followed by Odunlade Adekola at 14th, Chigozie
has moved up tremendously to 13th with Mike
Ezuruonye and Uti Nwachukwu at 12th and 11th
places.
The top ten begins with with Ali Nuhu at 10th,
Michel Majid at 9th, Benjamin Joseph at 8th,
Pope Odowondo Jnr at 7th and Frank Artus at
6th. The last five standing now have Benson
Okonkwo at number 5, John Dumelo at 4th, Van
Vicker at 3rd and Ramsey Nouah taking up the
2nd position. The man at the top is Yul Edochie
and he has remained so for several weeks with a
bit of unreserved smugness.
For the women, Anita Joseph is at the bottom of
the leader at 20th, Chika Agwu at 19th, Biodun
Okeowo at 18th, Queen Nwokoye at 17th and
Angela Okorie making up the last rung at 16th.
Chika Agatha, who was formerly a strong
contender has slumped to 15th place, joining
Maureen Cyril at 14th, Cynthia Agholor at 13th,
Yvonne Okoro, who was drawn for eviction a
couple of weeks ago at 12th and Amanda Ebeye
takes the 11th spot.
Top ten starts with Colette Orji at 10th place,
Queeneth Hilbert at 9th, Jackie Appiah at 8th,
Uche Jombo at 7th and Nadia Buari at 6th.
The final row making up the top 5 begins with
Rita Dominic at 5th, Ebube Nwagbo at 4th,
Yvonne Nelson at 3rd and Stephanie Okereke at
2nd place. The leading lady running the show is
now Tonto Dikeh at first position. Although there
has been a bit of ding-dong, see-saw tussle
between her and Stephanie for weeks but as at
the last count Tonto Dikeh is a head and
shoulder ahead.
However, it is important to note that some stars
are running rather neck to neck that a slight
push here or there could just upset the scale of
things as it is. This is the picture as at the end
of last week’s voting: it wasn’t like that a week
before and it is a safe bet it won’t be so next
week when some other stars may have to make
their way out of the quest. Keep voting!
